FLASHBACK: Marie De Pasquale, a part-time legal secretary, displays button July 30, 1970 advertising the organisation she founded, “MOM”, or Men Our Masters, as a counter to Women’s Liberation groups. “MOM” says that a women’s place is in the home, and that the Women’s Liberationists “haven’t the vaguest concept of what sex is, ” says Miss De Pasquale, who founded her group last March 1970.
