The Gorbals Boys, 1948 by Bert Hardy
The show Seen Not Heard: Photographs of Children 1865–2023 at London’s Atlas Gallery begins with the work of pioneering photographer Julia Margaret Cameron and taking in such luminaries of documentary photography as Syd Shelton, Roger Mayne, Shirley Baker and Robert Doisneau, brings us to the present.
Much as Nick Hedges did with his stirring photographs for the charity Shelter, a percentage of all print sales will go to children’s charities.
Also, 10% of all sales from Iain S. P. Reid’s fabulous photographs also go to charity.
