Martin Snelling bought these tremendous colour photographs of post-war Britain at a car boot sake. This gallery focuses on a family, lives and street scenes in St Ive’s Cambridgeshire. We don’t know the photographer’s name who captured Susan’s christening, the woman walking along Bridge Street not stopping to check her weight on the scales outside Barton’s the chemist, the Sunday school pupils, US military at the Battle of Britain Parade up Market Hill, the golf champ, and Brian and Daphne’s wedding. But we’d like to. I’ve included lots of images because they’re great and we ‘d like your help in identifying anyone in them.
