Love is the greatest isn’t it? April 1973
These photos were taken by Charlie Verrall who was living in Newhaven at the time but who was working in Brighton, East Sussex – a very popular English seaside resort about 60 miles from London. At lunchtimes he would often go out and with his SLR camera and take photographs around the area of Edward Street where he worked. More of his fabulous photos can be seen at his flickr site.
If you recognise any of the locations, which are all pretty central, please leave a comment.
