Before his defenestration, Richard Nixon visited Disneyland for fun times on four occasions: 1955, 1959, 1961 and 1968. In 1973, Nixon as there again. But this was business. Mire in the Watergate scandal, Nixon appeared at the Associated Press Managing Editors annual conference at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It was there on Nov. 17, 1973, during a televised Q&A session with the press, Nixon declared: “I am not a crook.”
